I shiver,

thinking about all the times I’ve tried and tried…

To end up, “hearing my bones strain under the weight of all the lives I’m not living.”‬

I even wonder, if things only go up so that they can get down again.

When even disillusionment for the world starts to grow inside of me.‬

The moonlight begins to sprinkle across my affinity, and gleam in my iridescent glow.

For one moment, I stood back and realised;

the trick is to watch the sky when the day breaks open lazily.

Letting the night roll off it’s shoulders slowly.

Obtaining the dawn of a new era.‬
