Samantha Chang Ling Shan (b.2003) is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in performance, ceramics, and poetry. Her practice stems from a state of in-betweeness, drawing from her experiences in the UK as an immigrant from Hong Kong. She is interested in navigating memory, space, myth, and the body. Her work explores how beliefs about identity collapse and reconstruct through migration. This transformation unfolds through the interplay between personal and collective histories, where storytelling becomes a vessel for examining belonging and displacement.
